Golden ring snake bite

[Systemic symptoms] Symptoms may appear and develop slightly slowly, including dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, diplopia, obstruction in the throat, hoarseness, aphasia, drooling, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and paroxysmal pain in muscles, bones, and joints throughout the body.
In severe cases, the whole body muscles become paralyzed and various neurophysiological reflexes disappear. Finally, he died due to respiratory muscle paralysis and circulatory failure.
Sea snake bite
[Local symptoms] Bite pain is instantaneous, followed by numbness. The wound is not red, swollen, or painful, and the tooth marks are small and sometimes difficult to recognize. This disease mainly occurs when being injured by sea snakes mixed in schools of fish during marine fishing operations.
[Systemic symptoms] 3-5 hours after the bite, obvious systemic poisoning symptoms can be observed. Due to the sea snake venom blocking the transmission of nerve muscle junctions and causing damage to skeletal muscles; Suffering from systemic muscle and bone pain, inability to open the mouth, difficulty in extending the tongue, swallowing, speaking, and coughing, drooping eyelids, blurred vision, expressionless face, severe breathing difficulties, cyanosis of lips and nails, fixed eyeballs, dilated pupils, deep coma, and even respiratory muscle paralysis
And there may be enlargement of the parotid gland, salivation, and sweating. Before limb paralysis, there is a short-term hyperreflexia of the tendon. Due to the destruction of striated muscle fibers, myoglobinuria (dark brown) may occur, which can cause acute renal failure and may be the cause of death 2-3 days after injury.
