But do not quickly lower the patient’s body temperature. When the temperature drops below, stop all cold compress and other strong cooling measures to replenish water. When the patient is still conscious, give some cool drinks. When replenishing water, add a small amount of salt or baking soda water, but do not rush to replenish a large amount of water.
Awakening promotion: If the patient has lost consciousness, they can pinch the acupoints such as Zhongren and Hegu to awaken them. Emergency measures for heatstroke should be transferred. For severe heatstroke patients, they must be immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. When transporting the patient, stretchers should be used for transportation, and the patient should not walk. During transportation, ice packs should be applied to the patient’s forehead, occipital area, chest, elbow socket, and thigh root as much as possible, and physical cooling should be actively carried out.

When transporting patients, stretchers should be used and patients should not be allowed to walk. At the same time, ice packs should be applied to the patient’s forehead, occipital area, chest, elbow socket, and thigh roots as much as possible during transportation, and physical cooling transfer should be actively carried out.
