Any first aid, maintenance of vital signs, follows the three principles of ABC: A (Airway), B (Breathing), and C (Circulation), where A represents maintaining airway patency, 8 represents support for the respiratory system, and C represents support for the circulatory system.

Injuries that require special first aid measures:

1、 Chest trauma

If the chest cavity is connected to the outside world, it can cause fatal tension pneumothorax and lead to sudden death. The chances of survival for the injured person may depend on the speed at which the wound is tightly closed. Ask the injured person to exhale as much as possible and hold their breath as much as possible after exhaling. At this time, the rescuer should quickly seal the wound (airtight) for the patient.

2、 Abdominal trauma

Bandage the wound and treat shock. When the intestines or other internal organs in the abdomen protrude from the wound, do not attempt to push them back. If necessary, the protruding intestines can be moved to cover the wound. Take out the disinfectant dressing from the first aid kit and cover it. Wet the dressing with physiological saline solution and then wrap a bandage around the abdomen to secure it. It is strictly prohibited for the injured to consume any food or liquid. It is best to use side lying to avoid suffocation due to inhalation of vomit.

3、 Abdominal stabbing injury

The inserted object should not be immediately pulled out. Use dressing to compress both sides of the wound, fix it with adhesive tape or use bandages to compress and wrap it, and then immediately evacuate in a bent knee and lateral position.

4、 Head trauma

Pay attention to any accompanying cervical spine injuries, and if suspected, fix the neck. Remember not to give morphine treatment.

If there are any of the following situations, check for head injuries:

1. Currently or recently experienced unconsciousness;

2. Blood flows out of the ears and nose;

3. Slow pulse;

4. Headache;

5. Vomiting;

6. Has experienced spasms;

7. Breathing very slowly.

99 enthusiastic doctors remind patients not to panic and remain calm when encountering unexpected injuries, and try to maintain order on site; Under conditions that do not endanger life in the surrounding environment, it is generally not advisable to easily move injured individuals.
