There are two rows of deep and coarse dental scars in the local area, with bleeding, pain, redness, and swelling, which spread towards the proximal end of the body. Nearby lymph nodes are swollen, with tenderness and blistering. Systemic symptoms include fever, chills, dizziness, headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, unclear vision, nosebleeds, and in severe cases, seizures, coma, arrhythmia, difficulty breathing, paralysis, and heart and kidney failure.

1. During self rescue, use ropes, handkerchiefs, plant vines, and cloth straps to tie the proximal 5 centimeters of the wound, and the toxin will continue to spread in the body. Loosen the straps every 15-20 minutes for 1-2 minutes to prevent limb ischemic necrosis.
2. Acupuncture detoxification. When the bite lasts for more than 24 hours and the swelling is severe, a blunt needle can be used to pierce a pinhole every 2-3 cm at the lower end of the swelling, causing the affected limb to sag. Press from top to bottom to allow venom to flow out of the pinhole, 2-3 times a day, for 2-3 consecutive days.
3. Rinse the wound repeatedly with well water, spring water, tea, tap water, or a 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, and make multiple “cross” small incisions on the wound for detoxification. Then use a fire can, breast pump, and suction cup to suck out the venom. In case of emergency, use your mouth to suck the venom from the wound, and the rescuer will immediately spit it out after sucking, rinsing your mouth clean. Do not use this method when emergency responders have oral ulcers.
When the hands and feet are swollen, acupuncture can be applied to the Eight Evil Points between the fingers and the Eight Wind Points between the toes to accelerate detoxification and reduce swelling.
5. Application of Antidotes: ① Nantong Snake Medicine (Jide Snake Medicine), for mild cases, take 5 tablets each time, 3 times a day. Take 10 tablets per time for heavy patients, 4-6 hours per time. ② Dissolve the above tablets in warm water and apply them half an inch around the wound Shanghai snake medicine, take 10 tablets each time and 5 tablets every hour thereafter 30-60 grams of fresh half lotus (snake furuncle grass), boiled in water, or mashed and applied around the wound.
6. Avoid medication during emergency treatment, such as central suppressants such as morphine, chlorpromazine, barbiturates, and striated muscle suppressants such as arrow poison. And urgently send to the hospital for treatment.
